Introduction To Cold-rolled Oriented Silicon Steel

Cold-rolled oriented silicon steel, also known as cold-rolled transformer steel, is an important ferrosilicon alloy used in the transformer (core) manufacturing industry. Its production process is complex and the manufacturing technology is strict, mainly divided into ordinary oriented silicon steel (CGO) and high magnetic induction oriented silicon steel (HiB). Oriented silicon steel was first discovered by N.P. Goss in the United States in 1930.
